Post Friday's games, it was imperative for Dan to hydrate and get some therapy.
Woodley was surprised by Dan's techniques but Dan has a routine he believes in.
However, we started to questions Dan's methods this morning when he started getting major jitters, but then we deduced that it was simply C.S.A...a rare conditions known as Chelsey separatation anxiety...commonly found in middle aged men who have never been apart from their wife for the night before. We prescribed some phone therapy which seemed to quell most of the symptoms.
We had to go to the High School for the championship game, luckily the town is very well laid out for visitors and there is adequate signage for the many tourists and visitors.
As we passed the mill, everyone was waving at James.
We asked him why everyone seemed to know him and he confessed he heard they were understaffed last night and worked from 1-4am pulling green tab off the belt. While we admired his generous spirit, we questioned how much energy he would be left with for three games in the same day.
When we arrived at the gyms, Aaron insisted on some new Cambodian stretching techniques.
Jeff laced up the ankle braces, knowing a long day was ahead.
Dan tried to combine digging in his bag with some hamstring stretching / twerking, with mixed results.
Nick fought of some catcalls from the local women who hadn't seen a man with all his teeth in many moons.
The championship game went as one might expect with some old geezers playing, the legends were down 6 at half but ran out of gas down the stretch playing their 3rd game of the day.
Luckily, the meth head ref, now proudly clean and sober for 48 hours, didn't recognize Drew and he left the gym unscathed.
Nick was confused by the foul calls, but nothing could be done.
Jeff proudly held his head up, knowing no team in their 30s had ever made the championship before.
Woodley proudly showed the 2, proud of the second place finish.
The author enjoyed time with his friends, despite making an emergency appointment with an orthopedic surgeon for Sunday.
A good looking crew.
